Amrita (Taapsee Pannu) and Vikram (Pavail Gulati) have been happily married for several years. One day, at an office party, Vikram slaps Amrita amidst a heated argument with an office senior. Amritas self-respect is shaken by the experience. Vikram is unable to resolve the matter and instead forces his hand which ends up in Amrita filing for divorce.
