Toofan tells the story of a boxer and the struggles he faces on his journey to get to the national level competition. Toofaan is a 2021 Bollywood sports-drama, helmed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. The movie star Farhan Akhtar, Paresh Rawal and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles. In Toofan, Farhan will be essaying the role of a boxer. The film is releasing on 16th July 2021 on OTT platform Amazon Prime. Toofaan marks the second collaboration of Farhan Akhtar with Rakeysh for a sports film, the previous being Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.
